We want our guests to experience the best value for their tour experience. So, after examining other pricing structures we found that we achieve much better value and satisfaction  by not having "all inclusive" pricing.  

All Inclusive pricing is a "convenience pricing" gimmick that unfairly overcharges the guest who consumes less food and beverage to make up for lost profit by the guest who consumes more. Sedona Wine and Vortex Tours has a simple flat hourly rate for our services, and the guest only pays for the food and beverage they individually enjoy at the various establishments that we visit on our Sedona wine tours. 

Consider that a 6 hour "all inclusive tour" for 4 people at $300 per person is $1200, plus whatever gratuity for the driver/guide. At Sedona Wine & Vortex Tours  (SWVT) our flat hourly rate for any tour or custom combination you want for 4 people for 6 hours would only be $474, or $118.50 per person, BUT you only pay for the food and beverage that you actually consume, and often at a discounted rate that is extended to our guests by the establishment. Our guests enjoy the same amount of food and beverage, they come out way ahead on their budget, and they have WAY MORE FUN by getting to hang out and spend time with one of Sedona and Verde Valley's most experienced, entertaining, and informative guides with 30 years experience. Just sayin'. 

You'll be provided a driver/guide and a clean, cool, comfortable, and spacious SUV, and we maintain a cooler with ice cold bottled water, sparkling water, Gatorade/Powerade, comfort stops at your request, and a collection of various convenience items such as tissue, hand sanitizer, phone charging adapters, etc.

Absolutely private. We provide a "boutique" class of tour where our volume is low, and our quality of experience is high. We find that the best way to provide that standard is to focus on small, intimate, and private individuals, couples, and groups. The only time someone else may be present is if someone is in training with the company and doing a "ride along", but they will be there to augment and enhance the guest experience, and to render assistance and extend all of the same courtesies that the guest would expect otherwise. We will let the guest know in advance in case they would prefer to not have a trainee present. 

If you are doing a wine tour or want us to stop at an establishment that serves alcohol, assume the establishment will ask you for proof of age and be prepared. We do not serve alcohol at any time during our tour, so it is not an issue for us. But, if you are one of the rare people who actually likes your own Drivers License picture and you want us to see it, we're happy to check it out. 

Absolutely! We love well-behaved children and always look forward to showing them Sedona and the surrounding area and teaching them fun things about fascinating area in Northern Arizona. Although, consider the age and temperament of your child when bringing them on a wine tour, because it may not be a fun activity for them, kind of like when mom used to drag us to the hair salon after she picked us up at school. I think the term "hellion" was invented for us to describe what happens when rowdy kids get bored. Anyway, we ask the parents to please be mindful of their children at all times and keep them contained for driver safety, to preserve our vehicle appearance and cleanliness, and to keep those "feeties off our seaties". We highly recommend that you do not bring infants on our tours. For children that are beyond the infant stage, parents/guardians will have to supply their own car seat for age appropriate children.  If you will be using a car seat, we do require advanced notice so that we can configure our vehicle accordingly prior to pickup.
